Mike Mignola Signing @ Bridge City Comics

Bridge City Comics is proud to announce our Mike Mignola Signing Event on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 6pm - 8pm! This event is free to the public.

In his first Oregon signing appearance in over a decade, comics legend Mike Mignola (creator of Hellboy, BRPD and The Amazing Screw-On Head) will be on hand to sign copies of his comics and talk shop with fans. In addition to having copies of his books and merchandise for sale, Bridge City Comics will also have special limited edition Hellboy poster (11"x17", featuring never-before-seen Hellboy artwork by Mike) available for purchase during the signing.

In addition, Mike's long-time collaborator, Dave Stewart, will be signing as well! Dave is a multiple-Eisner Award-winner and a highly-sought after colorist in comics.

Daniel Duford "Naked Boy #2" Release Party

Bridge City Comics is proud to announce our Naked Boy #2 Release Party on Friday, February 25 from 6pm - 8pm!

Summer is in the air as The Naked Boy saga continues. The Naked Boy grows older as he crosses the continent to kill The Great Bear. In this episode he meets a family of escaping slaves en route to Freedom City. Freedom City has another knickname- The City of Big Men, and the City of Big Men is the heart of a vast military industrial complex. The Governor of Freedom City is going to run for president and The Naked Boy is the key to his campaign.

Ursula and The Great Bear try to find out who is keeping them from contacting The Naked Boy directly. And the Naked Boy continues to lose body parts as he rambles Westward in the exciting second chapter of this American epic.

Hang out with artist/writer Daniel Duford to help us celebrate the release of his newest work, Naked Boy #2!

Axe Cop Vol. 1 Graphic Novel Release Party

Bridge City Comics is proud to announce our Axe Cop Vol. 1Graphic Novel Release Party on Saturday, December 18 from 3pm - 5pm!

Axe Cop creators Ethan and Malachai Nicolle will be on hand to sign copies of Axe Cop Vol. 1. In addition to having copies of the book for sale, Bridge City Comics will also have special limited edition Axe Cop art print available for purchase ($10 each) during the signing.

During the event, Ethan and Malachai will be performing a live demonstration of how Axe Cop is created, we'll have crayons and an Axe Cop coloring page for kids (and adults, too!) as well as Axe Copcookies made by Shawna Gore, the editor of Axe Cop Vol. 1!

This party will be a fun, all ages event! Kids are more than welcome... they can ask Malachai what it's like to be a comics superstar at the age of 5!
