Bridge City Comics was founded by Michael Ring in 2005 (you can read our Origin Story here). We still operate out of our original location in North Portland, as part of the Historic Mississippi Ave. community.

There is a LOT to do in the neighborhood after you visit Bridge City Comics! We are lucky to be surrounded by many great restaurants, bars, and retail shopping... even music and performance venues. Whether you are visiting Portland for the first time or the fifth, or you live here, roaming around and supporting all the great independent businesses on Mississippi Ave. is a great way to spend an afternoon.

If you are taking public transit, we recommend either the #4 Trimet bus or the MAX Yellow Line - Overlook Park stop. There is street parking available but it can be limited. Our shop is wheelchair accessible and we are always happy to help customers with limited or restricted mobility during their visit.
