Vic Boone is a blend of bizarre 50s Hollywood sci-fi and pulp detective noir set in a futuristic Portland, OR. Malfunction: Murder collects the first arc of the award-winning series, including four previously unreleased Vic Boone shorts. Ex-motorcycle daredevil turned P.I., Vic Boone is hired by wealthy socialite Nina Hunt to clear her name of murder. Talking gorillas, mad scientists, and human flies - Vic Boone has it all.

Bridge City Comics is proud to announce our Legend of Bold Riley Release Party on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 6pm - 9pm! This event is free to the public. In attendance to sign autographs will be Legend of Bold Rileywriter/artist Leia Weathington and artist Vanessa Gillings. Copies of the book will be available for sale ($29.99) during the event.

About the Authors:
Leia Weathington is a writer and artist recently relocated to Portland, Oregon from San Francisco, California. She writes comics and cooks dinner in a little treehouse where she lives with her boyfriend. The Legend of Bold Riley is her first book. PDX Broadsides Album Release Party!

Bridge City Comics is proud to announce our PDX Broadsides Album Release Party on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 6pm – 9pm! This event is all ages and free to the public.

**Unfortunately, Jay Lieber had to cancel but, thankfully, Kielen King has agreed to step in and open for the Broadsides instead! He'll be spinning a set and keeping the people entertained. His website is http://www.pwntoney.com/.**

Another in our Concert in the Courtyard series, this will feature an opening act Jay Lieber, mad violinist extraordinaire, half of local duo Cambion, member of the Wanderlust Circus and marching band Lovebomb GoGo, performing original violin music at 6pm to warm up the crowd for the main event... Portland’s own PDX Broadsides! The Broadsides will take to the stage around 7pm to entertain the masses with their unique blend of shanties, geeky originals and musical plundering!

The Broadsides will have digital download codes available for sale for their new album, “Take Everything”.


Roy's Boys Release Party with Ron Chan and Sean Kelley

Roy's Boys Bridge City Comics is proud to announce our Roy's Boys Release Party on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 6pm - 9pm! This event is free to the public. In attendance to sign autographs will be Roy's Boys creators Ron Chan and Kelley. Copies of the book will be available for sale ($12.00) during the event.

About the Authors:
Ron Chan was born and raised in Portland, OR and works as a freelance Comics Artist, Storyboarder, and Illustrator. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005, and is now a member of the Portland-based art collective, Periscope Studio. His comics have been published by Dark Horse, Marvel, Viper, and Virgin Comics. Storyboarding work of his includes boards for 3D animation, gaming, internal development, and advertising for clients such as Microsoft, Dell, and Nike. See more of his work at www.RonChan.net.

Sean Kelley spent his formative years in the booming metropolis known as Wappingers Falls, NY. Not long after discovering where the namesake falls of his hometown actually were, Sean found himself attending the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he went on to spontaneously double major and eventually graduate.
